Focus on the Democratic Republic of Congo & Nigeria – “Innovation and Action” in those countries
Prudence Hamade, MB, CHB, MRCPCH, Senior Technical Adviser, the Malaria Consortium, will talk about the Consortium’s Seasonal Malaria Control Programme in Nigeria.
She will include some information on their future scale up plans.
Pierre Hugo, Director, Access and Delivery Africa, Medicines for Malaria Venture
with the aid of Professor Christian Burri, Head Department of Medicines Research, Swiss Tropical & Public Health Institute and
Asif Ali, Programme Manager, Clinton Health Access Initiative will give a joint presentation on the projects in the DRC and Nigeria on their severe malaria control projects.
Professor Burri on the DRC, Asif Ali on the Nigeria project (work which has been funded by MMV). They will explain the current position, lessons learned and future developments of these projects.
